San Francisco Shop Pulls In Bagel Assignment

Their slogan: You don't have to be Kosher to sell a lot of bagels

SAN FRANCISCO (Adage.com)--San Francisco shop Grant, Scott & Hurley, agency for the 80-store Noah's bagels chain since October 2005, is grabbing a much bigger bagel assignment from owner New World Restaurant Group.

Following a pitch, the shop won the assignment to handle advertising for the 300-plus shop Einstein Bros.' chain. Other agencies in the pitch included McKee Wallwork, Cleveland. Previous shop was Thomas Taber & Drazen, Denver.

Grant, Scott's work for Noah's included outdoor, packaging and new product naming. It is expected to begin a brand positioning for Einstein Bros. Billings are under $5 million.
