Trumpet Wins National Gold Addy Award

Integrated brand agency has received a National ADDY Award from the American Advertising Federation for its work for C1TY, a grassroots organization that engages New Orleans residents to locally affect change.

Based in New Orleans, the agency's "Up to Here" campaign won in the Non-Traditional Advertising/Campaign category. Trumpet produced a series of ads, outdoor signs and T-shirts that encouraged locals to participate in rebuilding New Orleans. The award-winning materials stated that residents "had it up to here" with how the local leadership was handling particular issues and visually represented their frustrations by pointing out the waterlines left by Hurricane Katrina.

"Our brand studio is a new model of agency, integrating strategy, content, digital and media, necessarily extending beyond ads. Winning the top prize nationally in this non-traditional category validates the concept," says Robbie Vitrano, president of Trumpet.
