With offices in Harrisburg and Philadelphia, Pavone will manage all advertising, design, media buying and public relations for the Hanover, Pennsylvania-based snack food brand.
"We needed a marketing partner who could think as fast as we're growing," said Tom Dempsey, executive VP-sales and marketing for Utz Quality Foods, in a press release. In our initial meetings with them, Pavone proved that they were not only capable of producing ideas quickly, but they could produce great ideas and then execute them."
One of Pavone's first projects will be the launch of Utz's Baked Potato Crisps, which will join the company's line of healthier snack foods.
"We've been doing some trade ads for them and PR for them," said Derek Dunham, Pavone account supervisor for Utz. Utz's Baked Potato Crisps will hit shelves this month.
