The key to this San Francisco-based integrated marketing communications agency's success is flexibility. "Because of our nimble nature and the fact we all come from diverse backgrounds, we can push ideas to new perspectives," said Kellyann Lamb, founder and president.
From 2005 to 2006, Visual Resource's figures went from $ 5.6 million to $7 million. This was primarily made from building trust with clients and pushing the 21-member staff to get things done, Lamb said.
The company's clients include the Gap, CPP and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
"We're very excited about the two new hires," Lamb said, "When Kathleen and Evan joined the leadership group, they balanced out what the leadership team didn't have before."
Mr. Peter will be responsible for setting the company's creative vision and overseeing its staff of copy writers, art directors, designers and web developers. Ms. Callahan will push new business efforts, staff training programs and customer relationship management for the company.
Mr. Peter--who joined the staff in December--was formerly senior VP-creative director for JWT Technology. He also managed his own agency for seven years, where his clients included Hyatt Hotels and Sybase.
Ms. Callahan--who started in September--has managed account teams for multi-national Fortune 500 clients ranging from financial services to the food and beverage industries. She has also worked in an international marketing capacity for numerous years in Paris, France.
