The inventor of crotch-at-the-knees slacks has thrown his in with Flock-founder Geoffrey Arone in a YouTube-meets-American-Idol site called DanceJam. On November 12, visitors will be able to upload videos of themselves dancing and everyone else can vote on them, somehow crowning winners in virtual dance-offs. TechCrunch has some video of the Hammer explaining a little more about how his start-up is going to work.
According to Wired's Listening Post blog, 50 Cent and some awful band called Love Arcade are on-board to promote the site when it goes live. Why wasn't OK Go invited?
Despite the cryptic post on Hammer's blog (!) that says "Dancing Is My Life.. Dancing All My Life... Dancejam!!!" this video of "World of Warcraft" furries, sadly, does not appear to have anything to do with DanceJam.
