Tweedy Bumped Down for Macy Gray?

By Published on .

Barack Obama, in light of my post on Tuesday, I have two questions for you:
  1. If you've got some great musicians backing your campaign, why score your ad with a track from a Disney golf flick or the theme to Cuba Gooding Jr.'s "Radio" or whatever this chintzy nonsense is? Couldn't you imagine "Ashes of American Flags" or "I Can't Stand It" by Wilco here instead?

  2. Speaking of Wilco, you bumped Jeff Tweedy out from the headlining spot for Macy Gray in your benefit show this weekend. What were you thinking?
