Move.com this fall targets the millions of Americans who are purchasing a new home in a "Win a House" online sweepstakes, offering a new home "with an amazing yard" to one grand prize winner. Other cash prizes and gifts are included for sweepstakes entrants. Move.com is spending $4 million on the promotion, with print ads in national magazines and newspapers, via GMO/Hill, Holliday, San Francisco. Random drawings will be held Nov. 30.
Ducati North America announced it will double the number of riders it's sponsoring in the AMA Superbike Series motorcycle racing season next year. The move increases Ducati's sponsorship commitment from two riders to four as the motorcycle company steps up overall marketing initiatives surrounding the race series and puts more emphasis on motorcycle dealership tie-ins.
Super Snow Cross World Tour, in its second year of indoor snowmobile racing events, named Malone Advertising, Akron, Ohio, its first agency of record for advertising and marketing. Events will take place in Detroit; Fargo, N.D.; Indianapolis; Minneapolis; and Toronto this season, backed by local radio and online advertising.
