Inside line: Pepsi plans tour; TNT and Skyy contests begin

Simon Brand Ventures, New York, launches a nationwide shopping mall sampling tour for Pepsi-Cola Co.'s new Code Red beverage. Targeting teens, the tour provides mall "lounges" with hip-hop music entertainment and contests to "name that tune," for prizes. The tour visits 30 Simon Property Group malls from this week through July 7.

TNT offers the "Countdown to Nascar on TNT" promotion in five major cable TV markets next month including a radio contest to find five consumers who will live in a TNT-themed race car for several days. Whoever endures longest wins a grand prize trip for four to next year's Daytona 500 and the chance to be part of the TNT broadcast team.

Skyy Vodka and Coors Brewing Co. recently announced the 10th Annual Skyy Vodka Quest for the Best Bartender.
