Continuing progress in the war in Afghanistan and, perhaps, the soporific effects of Thanksgiving turkeys made for a relatively flat, albeit uninspiring, week for the market. For the week, 26 AdMarket stocks were up while 24 were down. In the media world, several companies, including News Corp. and the New York Times Co., showed gains for the week. Grappling for the bottom ranking among media companies were Spanish broadcaster Univision and radio giant Clear Channel Communications, which last week reworked management at its New York stations and was downgraded by A.G. Edwards. In the agency field, Interpublic Group of Cos. and Omnicom Group were among the top gainers, while WPP Group and Cordiant Communications Group were in the bottom five. Digitas
