"You constantly have to evolve your approach and be very open to being challenged," says Ms. Richman, 39, who's brainstorming new pushes for about 70 P&G brands.
Joanne Bradford, VP-global sales and marketing and chief revenue officer at Microsoft, has worked with Ms. Richman on projects including an online film festival for Old Spice on MSN.
"She's a great problem solver," Ms. Bradford says, but can also look past crises and "see the bigger picture. That's rare in this world."
