Founded in 1993, this Sausalito, Calif.-based agency suitably offers its 170 employees plenty of outdoor activities, including kayaking, tennis, and bocce ball. It also provides storage, lockers and showers for people who bike to work.

Butler Shine, whose client roster includes RadioShack, Nokia and Greyhound, offers traditional perks, too, such as computer loans and time off to volunteer.

No wonder staffers like each other so much. "Even when things are crazy, at the end of the day, the people are so nice that you don't mind as much," one employee wrote. "They even say thank you -- imagine that !"
