CANNES (AdAge.com) -- The Palais will be jammed throughout the week as more than 9,500 delegates are registered to attend the event that is the international advertising industry's largest annual gathering.

A record number of the coveted Lions awards will be given out this year at a festival that has continued to expand the categories of creative work that it judges.
Turned into a sprawling gallery of the world's best advertising, the Palais exhibits of shortlisted works draw thousands of visitors during the week.
