As founders/executive producers of Smuggler, Patrick Milling-Smith and Brian Carmody continue to provide the industry with some of its finest advertising productions on all kinds of platforms. The company took home the Palme D'Or again this year in Cannes and ranked as the most awarded shop of the year in Ad Age's annual Awards Report, boosted largely by the stellar performance of Under Armour's "I Will What I Want" campaign.
But Messrs. Milling-Smith and Carmody aren't ones to sit still when it comes to production. The pair have appeared on this list multiple times -- including 2012, after they conquered Broadway as producers of the award-winning "Once."
This year, they've made waves as they tackle even trickier production terrain. With Director Chris Milk and tech maven Aaron Koblin, they co-founded Vrse.works, a virtual reality company that's created 360-experiences for The New York Times, "Saturday Night Live," the United Nations, U2 and Vice News.
