The Street Review: Edward Gonzalez

Published on .

Wrigley's When the gumball started to talk and sing, I felt like I was watching some children's show - the voice sounded straight out of a cartoon. I don't like the bouncing-ball aspect; if the song were something catchy, it's a good idea to have the lyrics onscreen - but it isn't catchy. Plus, the red gumball reminded me of the 7Up spot character and that feminine hygiene product with the little red punctuation mark. When I think of fresh breath, I certainly don't think of a woman's menstrual cycle, and the gumball made me do just that. 1star
