Despite the 24/7 availability of kids programming, Saturday morning is still the most desirable daypart for youth-oriented advertisers because both broadcast and cable networks carry content for youthful audiences then, says Lisa Quan, VP-manager of broadcast and research at Magna Global. The top- rated shows among kids aged 2-11, during September-December, were all on Saturday mornings and all but one were on cable. The highest-rated broadcast show was "Pokemon" on The WB.
