Small Agency Conference and Awards

Small Agency of the Year, 76-150 Employees, Silver: Wongdoody

By Published on .

Why It Won: At 24 years old, Wongdoody still shows both creative momentum and commitment to staff development. About 40% of employees have stayed for more than five years, the agency said, and 20% started as interns -- including CEO Ben Wiener. Revenue was nearly $31.8 million in 2016, up over 15% from a year earlier, boosted by a more integrated in-house production unit.

The Work: Wongdoody worked with Amazon's in-house creative department to conceive amusing vignettes for the "Alexa Moments" campaign that aired during Super Bowl LI. The deadline was ridiculously tight: Brainstorming started just days before the spots had to upload to Fox.
