Looking at this 45-employee operation headquartered in Lincoln, Neb., you might wonder what Archrival's secret to success is.

Managing Creative Director Clint Runge said the company has a 93% employee-retention rate, which allows creatives to connect with brands over time and produce especially unique works.

Archrival is behind Red Bull's epic "Can You Make It?" campaign, which placed 500 college students in various locations throughout Europe with the objective of reaching Paris within a week. The catch? They had no money, only Red Bull cans they used as currency.

The shop's other big client is Adidas.
