Miami-based Republica, founded a decade ago by Jorge Plasencia and Luis Casamayor, is No. 12 in Ad Age's ranking of U.S. Hispanic agencies, with 11.7% growth in 2015 revenue to $16.2 million, and an estimated $18.6 million for 2016.

Work includes attracting younger shoppers to Hispanic supermarket chain Sedano's by humorously appealing to a sense of lost Latino flavor and culture; store traffic rose 24% among the younger bilingual, bicultural target without losing older customers. The 107-person agency's other clients include NBC Universal, Google and Toyota.
