Accor has purchased a 15-second spot for its Motel 6 chain to run on Sunday's Super Bowl on CBS. The buy was made this week by Motel 6's long-time agency The Richards Group, Dallas. A company spokeswoman declined to cite a purchase price, but said: "We're Motel 6. We don't buy anything unless it's a good deal." The spot, which began running last year and features football referees in a motel lobby, is expected to run during the second quarter. The spokeswoman said of the creative, "We have an ad that will play really well on the Super Bowl."
