Notable Nike moments came from DGA double nominee David Fincher, who followed up his stirring work on "Fate" with "Trail of Destruction," and Guy Ritchie, who shot the much-awarded "Next Level," out of 72andSunny. Meanwhile, Tron2 director Joseph Kosinski continued his legacy of inspiring work for Microsoft Xbox and directed the "Last Day" Trailer for Xbox Gears of War 2, while Garth Davis launched an underwater balloon parade for U.S. Cellular. Peter Thwaites (a Gorgeous director repped in the U.S. by Anonymous) earned the coveted DGA award this year, and helped Cadillac achieve lift off, for Modernista in "Re-ignition." Newcomer to the Anonymous roster Cary Fukunaga, who directed the Sundance awarded film Sin Nombre, shot Wieden + Kennedy's artsy black and white launch spot for Levi's, "America." Youtube wouldn't be the same without the work of director Jake Nave, whose "Single Ladies" video for Beyonce earned multiple wins at the MTV VMA's including Video of the Year.
