The TV networks partied like it was 2007 this year, with only ABC sitting out the upfront-afterparty circuit. Here's a report from our roving party correspondent, Freeloader.

FOX 9 OF 10 SHRIMP

DATE: Monday
THE VENUE: Hilton Hotel Wollman Rink
FOOD AND DRINK: An extravagant assortment of all-you-can eat sushi, burgers, pulled pork, ice cream and doughnuts. Dietary reservations were best left aside.
CELEB ACCESS: Optimal. Crowds lined up by the dozens to snap photos with the new "X Factor" judges (including Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul) as well as the casts of "Fringe," "Glee" and "The New Girl."

NBC 7 OF 10 SHRIMP

DATE: Monday
THE VENUE: Hilton Hotel
FOOD AND DRINK: An open bar served mostly Diet Coke and iced tea to the lunchtime crowd, but attendees could nosh on plenty of sushi, salad and build-your-own sandwiches.
CELEB ACCESS: Favorable. Meet-and-greet booths for shows like "Parks & Recreation," "Community" and "The Playboy Club" were moderately attended, but many guests checked out early after the two-hour-plus presentation cut into afternoon schedules. Mariska Hargitay and Tina Fey made brief cameos.

TURNER 10 OF 10 SHRIMP

DATE: Wednesday
THE VENUE: Hilton Hotel Del Posto
FOOD AND DRINK: A 3-year-old tradition, TNT and TBS hosted a private lunch for press and their top talent at Mario Batali's Meatpacking District-adjacent hotspot for a three-course meal. A choice of red or white wine took the edge off a technologically challenged presentation.
CELEB ACCESS: The best. Each table featured at least two top-tier Turner talents, including the stars of "Rizzoli & Isles," "The Closer," "HawthoRNe," "Men of a Certain Age" and even Conan O' Brien, who stuck around for the meal's duration, unlike last year's cameo.

CBS 8.5 OF 10 SHRIMP

DATE: Wednesday
THE VENUE: Hilton Hotel Lincoln Center
FOOD AND DRINK: A more upscale offering than years' past of mostly Latin mini-entrees like ensaladas and guacamole galore. A fully stocked, accessible bar made sure partiers weren't parched.
CELEB ACCESS: Overwhelming. More than eight simultaneous cast lounges were set up, making small talk with the casts of "The Good Wife," "How I Met Your Mother ," "Hawaii Five-O," "The Big Bang Theory" and many new fall shows quite easy.

ADULT SWIM 9.5 OF 10 SHRIMP

DATE: Wednesday
THE VENUE: Hilton Hotel Roseland Ballroom
FOOD AND DRINK: Like the best college party you ever attended, there were limitless accessible drinks and all sorts of indulgent snacks (mini hot dogs!) passed around by the minute.
CELEB ACCESS: Infrequent. Musical guest Jay -Z took the stage 45 minutes late but delivered a hits-filled, hour-long set. Adult Swim stars like Tim and Eric of "Tim & Eric's Awesome Show! Great Job!" and "Robot Chicken's" Seth Green could be spotted.
