Jennifer Miller, 27

By Published on .

With brand buzz since its 2000 inception as Y&R Advertising's integrated marketing unit, Associate Creative Director Jennifer Miller loves "the challenge of figuring out new ways of doing things."

Ms. Miller, 27, is as plucky as the agency she's helped to build. She began in advertising as a photographer's assistant at a small Connecticut shop, and soon realized that a job as a creative was a better fit. She moved around before becoming an art director at WPP Group's Wunderman, which was launching an integrated marketing unit. There, she met her current boss, Lincoln Bjorkman, another Brand Buzz entrepreneur.

On weekends Ms. Miller has, with her husband Brian, a creative for Stamford, Conn.-based Gartner, studied for an MBA at Pratt Institute. The pair wrote their senior thesis together and graduated in May. "It gave us an opportunity to see if we can actually work together as a couple," says Ms. Miller.
