Just out of college in 1998, Mr. Tick moved to Namibia, working for two ad agencies there. When he returned to the U.S., Mr. Tick made brief stops at DDB Worldwide and Euro RSCG.
He started at McGarryBowen as an account director on Verizon Communications, but begged to help the agency pitch Reebok International. Mr. Tick went on to play a key role in his agency winning that account.
Today, the 29-year-old is account managing director on Reebok and oversees that company's largest global marketing campaign in nearly a decade.
Looking at the evolving consumer market, "We are seeing an unprecedented mashing of cultures and blurring of target lines and definitions," Mr. Tick says.
