That's evident by the credits the 27-year-old has already built up since arriving at the FCB unit of Interpublic Group of Cos. in 1999. Ms. Brown Barbosa, VP-senior copywriter in the New York office, has clocked TV, print and outdoor campaigns for the likes of Samsung, Trane, General Foods International Coffees and Nabisco Foods' Oreos. She's a key member of the global Samsung creative team.
Ms. Martin says Ms. Brown Barbosa's best work was for the launch of chocolate cream Oreos. The spot saw a boy turn into a man and a later a 70-year-old who continues to eat the cookie brand his entire life before discovering the new chocolate cream filling and screaming for his mom. "Oh never mind," ends the spot when he tastes it. The Oreos work took a New York Festival Gold World Medal and a silver Effie in 2001.
