Directors' Hidden Talents: Ringan Ledwidge

Published on .

Ringan Ledwidge
I'm a part time loner. Don't know whether it's really a secret, as I'm sure most people who know me well have long since spotted my tendency in my professional and personal life to do the odd disappearing act, particularly my producer, Sally Humphries, who I have to say sometimes has the patience of a saint in terms of dealing with me. What does it say about me as a director? I'm not sure really. I'd like to think that it's a way of clearing head space in order to procrastinate and mull over what particular creative problems I'm working on at the time. Although on the other hand, it could be that sometimes I like to do bugger all!
