THE BIG PUSH: Dreyer's brightens kids table

Less than fond memories of the "little table" inspire a new spot from Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream. The commercial for the premium line takes viewers back to a time, circa the '60s, when a holiday meal meant adults feasting in the dining room and kids banished to the kitchen. "Eventually, Mom would sense our suffering," the child's voice-over says, and break out the Dreyer's. Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, created the :30, themed "Dreyer's. Give 'em the good stuff." Copywriter: Jim LeMaitre. Art director: Patrick Mullins.
