The big push

Published on .

A flock of "counting sheep" find themselves out of a job in a new TV campaign from Serta. The clay animation in the commercials is the work of the U.K.'s Aardman Studios, of "Wallace & Gromit" and "Chicken Run" fame. Doner, Southfield, Mich., created the advertising, in which the sheep show up for their usual night shift only to learn they're no longer needed by their clients, who have instead bought a restful Serta mattress. The spots are tagged "Serta. We make the world's best mattress." Copywriter: John Parlato. Art director: Kenny Sink.
