Rodrigo Garcia, writer and director of the upcoming film "Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her," has directed two Sprite spots that break this week, aimed at the Hispanic market. In "Antique Store," after the proprietor leaves his shop, the young employee uses two gramophones to spark a hip-hop dance party. When the store owner returns, the only evidence is a Sprite bottle revolving slowly on a turntable. Leo Burnett USA's Hispanic agency Lapiz, Chicago, created the commercials for Coca-Cola Co.
