Jerry Rice gets animated in a TV spot for Humongous Entertainment's new CD-ROM game Backyard Football. In the commercial from Publicis Dialog, Seattle, the San Francisco 49ers star wide receiver is turned into a cartoon kid by a group of junior scientists in their garage. The spot broke the day after Christmas and airs as part of a launch promotion that will include a sweepstakes for tickets to Super Bowl XXXIV. Copywriter: Tad Trier. Art director: Eric Oltersdorf.
