Gibson's "Pure" campaign evokes the spirit of its guitars. One print ad features a woman clad in pink hot pants in a pose as striking as the guitar next to her. Print and outdoor executions were created by Interpublic Group of Cos.' Carmichael Lynch, Minneapolis. Print spots will run in Guitar World, Guitar Player and Guitar One. Outdoor boards just went up on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles and in New York's Times Square. Group creative director: Brian Kroening. Art director: Randy Hughes.
