A day after the attacks in New York and Washington, a firefighter arrived at the door of his friend, Maureen Sherriff, a group creative director at WPP Group's Ogilvy & Mather, Chicago. Since Ogilvy earlier this year helped Chicago firefighters organize a benefit for the family of a Chicago firefighter killed in the line of duty, the tearful man-the son of a Brooklyn fire marshal-asked if the agency could help again. The result was this print ad. Art director: Keith Cartwright. Copywriter: Brigg Bloomquist.
