Mercedes-Benz USA looks back on its own past century in a holiday season commercial. The timeline in the spot actually begins before 1900 and goes to 2000, with various years highlighted with appropriate car models, brand logos and other Mercedes milestones. Sound track is the original 1977 version of late folk singer Steve Goodman's "The Twentieth Century Is Almost Over." The ad ends with the salute: "See you in the 21st."
