Fake Hillary + Real Hillary + Fake Bill = Ha!

Presidential Candidate Clinton Continues Her Rebranding Effort

By Published on .

Hillary Clinton's redemption tour -- wherein she's continuing to "humanize" her brand (while trying to get us to forget about her old email server) -- made an inevitable pit stop on the season premiere of "Saturday Night Live" this weekend. And the results are pretty charming -- thanks mostly to the clever conceit of casting Mrs. Clinton as a bartender named Val who serves drinks to a dejected Hillary Clinton, as played by "SNL" cast member Kate McKinnon. Candidate Clinton somewhat stiffly reads her lines off of cue cards, but given that she's delivering dialogue that makes fun of her image, the humor definitely resonates. Added bonus: Fake Hillary and Real Hillary are briefly joined by Fake Bill (Clinton), as played by Darrell Hammond.
