It looks as though love is in the air. Well, it's in the interwebs anyway, with German hair care brand Schwarzkopf Professional's romantic Valentine's Day spot "You" taking the crown in this week's Viral Video chart.
The two-minute ad features a man poetically describing all the idiosyncrasies of his girlfriend, such as her tendency to laugh at bad jokes, the way she looks before she kisses and her contradicting ways of organization, and how every one of these things make her, her. The spot swooned 7 million viewers last week.
At No. 2 is Maserati's cinematic Super Bowl ad starring young actress Quvenzhane Wallis in a David and Goliath-themed storyline of how the auto brand is positioned to take on their biggest competitors.
Other newcomers this week include Melbourne Metro Trains' animated Valentine's Day safety ad at No. 5, Nike's Flyknit campaign starring Kobe Bryant, Ashton Eaton, and Allyson Felix at No. 8, and Chobani's Super Bowl spot "How Matters" coming in at No. 10.
Intimate apparel company Wacoal also made the chart with its latest installment to its Beauty Inside campaign. Launched in Thailand, the new set titled "My Beautiful Woman" is a series of three powerful short films that follow the lives of three women and illustrates the beauty that lies behind their obstacles. It takes the No. 6 spot this week with 4 million views.
