Hyundai's 'Exobaby' Crashes Viral Video Chart

In A Week of Reruns, Tot Takes No. 2 Slot

Maybe it's fitting, given it's the time of year for reflection on the past, but reruns prevailed on this week's Viral Video chart. Six of the 10 entries on the Visible Measures Viral Video Chart for the week ending on Sunday are making their second, third or even sixth appearance including YouTube's "Turn Down for 2014," which led the chart for the third straight week after garnering 79.3 million views since its release.

Google's "The Google App" campaign made its sixth appearance with 3.5 million views over the past week.

That said, two newcomers had a futuristic theme. Hyundai's "Exobaby" hopped on the chart for the first time, claiming the No. 2 spot. The ad, which generated 10.1 million views, features a baby donning an exoskeleton suit and showing off the suit's safety features. "You get it?" the narrator asks. In the 2015 Hyundai Sonata, you are like the baby in a super-powered exoskeleton.

LG's "The Future of TV" is also new to the chart, with more than 5.3 million views this past week. The ad features testimonials from influencers about LG's OLED TVs.

Gatorade's historical new campaign, "50," garnered 4.5 million views since its launch. The spot recounts the brand's 50-year history with a look back at memorable sports moments.

A touching new spot by Duracell and Toys for Tots rounded out the top 10 during the holiday week with the story of a boy who was helped by the organization and now donates as an adult. It generated more than 3 million views in the last week.
