"Would You Help a Freezing Child" uses a hidden camera that captures strangers lending the boy their scarves, mittens, and coats, leaving some with only a t-shirt on, as he waits for his teacher. The campaign garnered 12.4 million views last week, grabbing the No. 1 spot on this week's Viral Video Chart.
This week's chart includes a slew of fresh campaigns. Electronics giant Samsung shoots to No. 2 with a new ad spotlighting LeBron James and his dunks in an effort to promote the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Coca-Cola Light claims fifth place with 3.5 million views while food brands Cadbury and Kraft also make the chart at No. 8 and No. 9 respectively. A humorous spot by Jung von Matt/Neckar Stuttgart sits at No. 7 with a non-commissioned DHL ad which was created as a part of an internal contest at the German agency. Auto brand Fiat featuring Sean "Diddy" Combs came in at No. 10.
Chevy debuts at No. 6 this week with its Winter Olympics spot that used footage from a same-sex couple's wedding as an example of what it calls "the new love." Titled "#TheNew," it collected 3.5 million views last week.
