Samsung Grabs Two Spots, While Mormon.Org And Unicef Make Appearances

Can you tell that Christmas is near? While 2015 retrospectives and the usual high tech gadgets spots are still going strong in the Viral Chart, there's also space for spirituality and a message of peace.

Samsung wins two spots in the latest chart, compiled by Visible Measures and covering last week through Sunday: The first with a video featuring its new VR device for smartphones and the other with a campaign promoting the Gear S2 smartwatch, both of which Samsung would like you to consider gifting to a loved one.

Mormon.org makes its debut in the weekly chart with its "A Savior Is Born" video, showing children around the world reciting Bible passages about the birth of Jesus Christ. It got 8.8 million views after a boost from famous musicians and YouTube celebrities.

Unicef also scored a place in the chart with a video campaign about children born in war zones that racked up 7.6 million views.
