There are some things people apparently just don't tire of : pizza, Harry Potter films and roller-skating babies. This week marks Evian's 103rd week on the Viral Video Chart. It ascended to the top position with more than 890,000 views, edging out a couple other regulars, Blendtec and Heineken. Blendtec celebrates its 40-week stay on the chart, taking second place, while Heineken places third with more than 600,000 views.
On a list littered with familiar faces such as Old Spice and Dirt Devil, four brands make their debut: Melissa, Cosmopolitan magazine, Butterfinger and STA Travel Australia.
Melissa, the Brazilian shoe brand, provided a unique take on interactive art as it created the largest Post-It mosaic in the world, using 350,000 of the sticky notes in total, while Cosmopolitan broke into the chart with its "iPad Head Girl" campaign launched earlier this month. The video, which promotes Comso for Guys, an iPad-only magazine by Hearst, received more than 470,000 views and features a woman walking around New York with a head made of iPads.
Landing at the seventh spot is "Butterfinger the 13th," directed by Rob Lowe . Originally launched last May with a series of trailers, this video breaks into the countdown with more than 500,000 views, while many wait in anticipation for the release of the "Butterfinger the 13th" film set to release on Oct. 13.
Finally, STA Travel Australia breaks onto the chart with its "6 Weeks, 1 Epic Minute" campaign featuring three original minute-long videos that pack the story of six weeks of travel packed into 60 seconds.
