The '80s Unsealed

Published on .

Nordstrom's new music video/fashion website is supported in part by print ads and New York and L.A. wildpostings that hype the site's remixed music videos, via DJs Fatboy Slim and JXL and director Olivier Gondry, of the '80s hits "Our Lips Are Sealed" and "I'll Tumble 4 Ya." The vids feature original artists and footage mixed with shots of models wearing Nordstrom fashions-sold, of course, online. It's an attempt at "something untraditional that elevates Nordstrom's fashion authority," says GCD Susan Treacy. Seen here is a poster by Aesthetic Apparatus.
