Oh, What a Faux Feeling!

Published on .

Yeah, we've no doubt the kind of dude who buys a bigass Toyota Tacoma pickup likes to think he's immortal and his wheels are indestructible. Saatchi/L.A. is playing up this fantasy brilliantly as of late; late last year we saw a pickup trounce a monster truck at a demolition derby; now we have Baker Smith's perfectly executed faux home vid spot, in which an equally perfectly cast babe has her boyfriend's Tacoma rolled off a cliff as revenge for his favoring the truck over her, only to have the vehicle land on all fours, unscathed, like a cat, while the girl groans in disbelief. Sweet.
