A Wing and a Prayer

Published on .

So Burger King has two chicken sandwiches. One's spicy and, one's, uh, crispy. Burger King also has a lot of money to burn and the brainpower of CP+B to play with, so this two-chicken bit has become an 11-minute WWE-style spectacular for DirecTV subscribers. While it's all perfectly well executed, that's part of the problem-it's like a very tame episode of Smackdown performed in chicken suits. Parodies of parodies are very difficult to pull off, as is proven on SNL almost weekly. The bouncy bird eyes are a nice touch, however, and the presence of Don "The Dragon" Wilson doing color commentary will either amuse or horrify martial arts fans.
