What if sports like tennis, basketball and golf had to be played with a bowling ball? Well, you'd get some pretty good sight gags. Which led the men of Seattle boutique Creature to a new comedy campaign for the Professional Bowlers Association. As Creature's Matt Peterson explains, "Are bowlers athletes? We think so. The ongoing challenge of the PBA is to be respected as a legitimate sport. So what better way to demonstrate this than to make legitimate athletes look stupid and clumsy with a bowling ball, thus elevating PBA pros as skilled marksmen worthy of the sports fan's respect. Proving that, indeed, 'Not just any athlete can handle a bowling ball.' " Or a cigarette and a beer between frames.
