Joseph Kahn is showing off with motorcycles in his new feature film, but it appears he's pretty good with stock cars, too. In a campaign to celebrate the return of Nascar to Fox, stock car racers wax tongue-in-cheek philosophical about how dangerous baseball, basketball and football are-"What if you pull a groin?"-while speeding on the track in the midst of spinouts and collisions. Besides fabulous editing, the shots of the drivers strapped into their wheels are frequently dazzling, with a wild 360 camera move.
