What's this, a far-out gum commercial that relies largely on analog effects? Juicy Fruit's bizarre new flavors, like "grapermelon" and "strappleberry," are celebrated in an appropriately demented office situation in which guys keep stealing the gum from each other via Predator-like camouflage gear that has them blending quite remarkably into cabinets and windows, suddenly pouncing on their prey in a peculiarly clutter-busting manner. The spot is directed by British duo Blue Source - Rob Legatt and Leigh Marling - probably best known for the Dirty Vegas "Days Go By" video. "We gave it more of a twisted philosophy, because this product is a little twisted," explains BBDO/Chicago group creative director Jim Hyman.
