Entertaining Nonsense

Published on .

Here's a campaign for Emerald nuts that has absolutely nothing to say about the product-thank God! If we hear another phony baloney selling proposition, "unique" or otherwise, we'll spit up a pistachio. Instead, we get endearingly cute comedy vignettes based around the letters E and N. Like, Encouraging Norwegians, Evil Navigators, Extinguished Novelists, Egotistical Normans and Exercising Newscasters. Note to other agencies: If your client's name starts with a vowel and the product starts with an easy consonant, you know what to do. If Goodby did it, it must be right.

Client: Emerald Nuts Agency: Goodby, Silverstein & Partners CD: Jeff Goodby ACD/AD: Jon Soto CW: Mike McCommon Agency Producer: Michael Damiani Director: Jim Hosking/Partizan
