The yawn-inducing head-to-head Miller/Bud rivalry continues-it's like a fight between beige and off-white-but at least this latest football-themed Lite and MGD campaign, which features elaborate referee shtick and penalties like "ineligible beer in the cooler," is funny and well executed. Best are the Lite spot with the ditzy whistle-blowing babe in the bikini, which give us the "dispropotionately hot girlfriend" call, complete with matching hand gesture, and the MGD spot with a date interrupted with the "noticeable unibrow" penalty.
