Ever wonder how skaters manage to voluntarily hurdle themselves into hard surfaces in the pursuit of some sweet air? Turns out there's another force at work, in the guise of the Fairy Snapmother, as revealed by this surprisingly hilarious campaign for Slim Jim. A character resembling Henry Rollins with fairy wings (and who must have a producing credit on Jackass), uses his "wand"-a beef jerky stick-to help them get over their fears. It's not a spoiler to say that gravity isn't in the athletes' favor, but the wand, after all, isn't the type that spews magic either. In true extreme home video style, the winged one hovers around the scene and veers into closeup range to deliver the brand's longtime slogan, "Snap into a Slim Jim."
