Kiss of the Spider Pre-Woman

Published on .

We've seen plenty of zoo ads that are trying desperately to make the place seem cool to kids, but few have the style of this little number for Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo. An exquisite little Pippi Longstocking type, done up in black-frame glasses, which only increases her femme fataleness, makes a web of duct tape in the park. When school lets out, she catches a boy in it-so she can learn to kiss him. It's beautifully shot and edited, and rarely has a zoo spot for the junior set been fraught with such adult overtones.
