In a slight departure from the usual greeed-wallow, two uplifting spots for the California Lottery, from BBDO West, offer positive (and yet still frivolous) ways to spend the winnings. One shows how a windfall can bring a family together-by reliving the precious moment-while the other shows that there is indeed a way to buy happiness with the tag, "Imagine what a buck can do." "We wanted to reinforce the good that people could do with lottery winnings," says ECD Jim Lesser.
