Passion of the Paygoist

Published on .

Virgin Mobile has explored a few different religions and made up its own holiday in Chrismahanukwanzakah, so why can't it make up its own religion? A folksy lass in a New York subway belts out the ballad of the Paygoists, backed by a scruffy fiddler and some beatboxing, in an anthem-type spot. Shorter Paygoist mantras are spoken by an Isaac Hayes type over weird scenes such as a biker chick in jeans and chaps grinding for no good reason. Which, of course, is a very good reason.
